Auto DVD Labeler is a software to create custom CD Jewel Case Labels for DVD/DivX movies. It can fetch information regarding the movie, including its picture, directly from Amazon.com, so that the procedure becomes as easy as it gets: run it, fetch it, print it.
A printer is absolutely necessary for this program to work correctly, otherwise you will get "Printer error" messages. If you are without a printer you can always install a fake one, like CutePDF.
This program is provided "as-is" and the author will take no responsibility for any problems or accidents that might happen in the process of using his program (including right forefinger injuries).
Ionut Ilascu for sacrificing his right index.
This program is pretty straightforward. At first you're presented with a preview of your CD Jewel Case Labels: Front, which goes on the front, Inside, which goes behind the front, and Back, which goes on the back. Click on the preview to: load a cover picture (Front), edit Title/Body text (Inside), or edit Spine/Back text and select a Logo (Back).
The Logo is a 600x100 pixels picture file which will be printed at the bottom right of the back label. The cover picture can be any picture. You can find the default ones in the "gfx" subfolder of your ADL installation folder.
If you deselect "Keep Aspect Ratio" in the Options menu, the cover picture will be stretched to fit the whole Front label, regardless of the aspect ratio. If you deselect "Print Solid Lines", printed border lines will be fragmented. Choose "Save Settings" in the File menu to save the Options menu settings for your next sessions.
ADL can interrogate Amazon.com database to fetch your DVD's cover picture and information. To do so, make sure you're connected to the Internet and click on "Amazon Query". Enter your DVD's title in the text input near the "Query" button, then click on the button and wait for the request to be honored. Select the correct title from the list and the corresponding info and picture will be loaded. Press OK to transfer them to your ADL project.
Select "Save As" in the File menu to store the CD Case layout for later use, or "Print" to print it out immediately.
If you like this program and you find it useful, please donate. Doing so will encourage me to continue to improve it in the future.
